About this project

This project involved a complete overhaul of an existing e-commerce website. Key responsibilities included user research, wireframing, prototyping, UI design, and frontend development oversight. We focused on creating a more intuitive navigation, streamlining the checkout process, and enhancing product discovery. The redesign resulted in a 25% increase in conversion rates and a 40% decrease in bounce rates on product pages. The tech stack included React for the frontend, a Node.js backend, and integration with various third-party payment and shipping APIs. Accessibility (WCAG AA) was a key consideration throughout the design and development process.
